Each of our academies retain their uniqueness and special character. We believe that each of our schools – whilst adhering to the key beliefs across the trust in regard to vision, values and culture – are best-placed to decide how to meet the needs of their local community through high quality provision and local accountability. All of our academies are in regional hubs and take full advantage of working together collaboratively in partnership with local schools as well as those across the trust.
We offer a full academy conversion service and will project manage the entire process for you. This includes:
- Full and extensive due diligence
- Public consultation
- TUPE and union consultation
- Land searches
- Legal advice
- Building surveys
- Common transfer agreement
- Council lease
- Funding agreement
- New local governance arrangements
- Signage, uniform, website and marketing
- Induction into the MAT
In addition to all this we will ensure a smooth transfer across to the provision of new services (all provided centrally by the trust). These include:
- School improvement
- Human Resources
- Governance support and clerking
- Business managers
- Estates and site management
- Health and safety
- Quality assurance etc.
We will work with you and your team throughout the conversion process to ensure a smooth and efficient transfer. This includes meetings with your staff team, governors, pupils and parents so that everyone knows exactly what is happening every step of the way.
