Become a Local Academy Councillor

Governance in a Multi Academy Trust flows from the board, however each school has it’s own Academy Council. Academy Councillors volunteer to promote and carry forward the Trust vision, policies and priorities, provide internal assurance and, in addition to develop local community links. Councillors are expected to question, challenge and support the academy leadership and feel comfortable that they know, and are able to discuss, the performance of the academy.
